Haystack US
Haystack is the search relevance conference run by OpenSource Connections — the original US edition, held in Charlottesville, Virginia (OSC’s home). It is the field’s premier practitioner-focused gathering on search relevance: ranking, Learning to Rank, evaluation, vector/semantic search, and query understanding across Solr, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch. The European edition is Haystack EU.

- Community: Doug Turnbull, Charlie Hull, and the broader OSC-run Relevance Slack community are closely associated with it.
